At the heart of The Sweet Spot Whitsundays is Linda, a seasoned wedding planner with a passion for creating unforgettable experiences. You’ll often spot her smiling face at our shop front or chatting with customers about their custom wedding cakes and unique sweet creations.

The Sweet Spot Whitsundays is a small family run business, quite literally with two little ones growing up around baking every day.

In a new and exciting chapter, the Mickelbourgh team have decided to bring The Sweet Spot to a storefront, offering the Whitsundays community and visitors a one-of-a-kind dining experience. Whether you're in the mood for a quick coffee on the go or want to linger and take in the stunning view, there’s something for everyone.

Indulge in a wide variety of delicious treats, from mouthwatering cakes and pastries to savory bites that satisfy all tastes. Our menu features locally sourced ingredients, showcasing the best the region has to offer.

At The Sweet Spot Whitsundays, we pride ourselves on using locally sourced ingredients in both our food and gifts. From the coffee beans to the handcrafted products in our gift section, everything is carefully chosen to support the local community and offer you the freshest experience possible.

Whether you’re grabbing a sweet treat or picking up a gift for a loved one, we invite you to explore our cozy space and savor the flavours of the Whitsundays.

Blake is a qualified Chef with over 15 years experience and has worked in some of Australia's top restaurants including Vue De Monde and Restaurant II.

He began his career at a young age and say's he can thank his Nanna for his love of cooking.

During his apprenticeship Blake won Australian Apprentice of the Year and travelled to the Napa Valley in America.

When working in Brisbane he began creating cakes that were natural and using edible flowers, honeycomb and all things nice. Once he moved back to Airlie Beach to make it his forever home, he decided to bring that slice of cake heaven with him.

Blake prides himself on using local produce in his cakes and creates a delicious range of gluten and dairy free options.

Blake strives to always use local suppliers and produce and everything is hand made in their fully licensed home kitchen.
